T, trace. "WEATHER CONDITIONS. During the last 24 hours showers have pre vailed generally in all portions of the North Pacific States and in extreme Northern Cali fornia. A maximum -wind velocity of 48 miles from the south occurred during the afternoon at North Head, "Wash., while at Tatoosh Is land the winds are from the northwest and light. The river at 5 P. M. marked a stage of 12.3 feet, which Is a rise of 0.0 of a foot since yesterday evening. This small rise is mostly due to the rapid melting of the snow in the foothills and the river will go but little higher before it begins to fall again. The indications are for showers in this dis trict Tuesday. "WEATHER FORECASTS.
